About INKOSI Global

Sawubona. I See You.

The Zulu greeting that became a leadership philosophy.

Carly Lewis

The Founder

Carly Lewis

For 18+ years, I've worked with executives who have everything—the title, the compensation, the respect—except the feeling that their leadership is actually their own.

They've mastered the performance of leadership. They know exactly what a leader should look like, sound like, decide like. And somewhere along the way, that performance became a prison.

I created INKOSI Global because I believe the most powerful leadership transformation isn't about adding new skills. It's about recognizing what's already there—the sovereign leader who's been performing someone else's version of authority.

The methodology I've developed—Sovereign Thinking and the Four Movements—came from thousands of conversations with leaders who were succeeding at something they never chose.

The Philosophy

Rooted in Zulu Wisdom

Sawubona

"I see you"—not your title, not your performance, but your full humanity, dignity, and sovereignty.

Sikhona

"I am here"—fully present, witnessed, real. Your existence matters because I see you.

Ubuntu

"I am because we are"—leadership isn't solo performance, it's sovereign interdependence.

Inkosi

"Sovereign chief"—a leader whose authority comes from within, not from the performance of power.

Where We Work

Cape Town, South Africa

In 2026, INKOSI Global relocated to Cape Town—where African wisdom meets global transformation.

Our apex experience, THE BEYOND, brings five leaders to Cape Town for seven days of immersive transformation. But the work happens globally—virtually, in keynotes, and in organizations ready to change.
